Directors
John Worth
CEO and Managing Director
John is an infrastructure development leader with over 25 years of experience in senior roles in the power generation, transport and property development sectors. He has worked extensively in renewable energy including geothermal and has completed post-graduate studies in Engineering Management, Strategy and Innovation, and Private Equity & Venture Capital, at Auckland, Oxford and Harvard respectively. His background includes time in start-ups and most recently he was CEO of an NZX-listed renewable electricity generator.
Bill Turner AO
Chairman
Bill is a geologist with over 35 years of international experience in the mining industry. He is a former President & CEO of Anvil Mining Limited, a company founded in 1993 and acquired in 2012 by Minmetals Resources Limited for US$1.3B. Bill was one of the founding directors of the Australia-Africa Minerals & Energy Group (AAMEG), its Chairman from 2011 to early 2016, then continued as a director until late 2019, just prior to which he was made an AAMEG lifetime member.
Peter Bradford
Director
Peter is a metallurgist with over 30 years experience in the minerals industry. He has extensive international operational, development and corporate experience and was the former CEO of Golden Star Resources, director of Anvil Mining and was CEO of Copperbelt Minerals Limited. Peter is currently the CEO of Independence Group [ASX:IGO], a diversified mining and exploration company listed on the ASX.
Joanne Warner
Director
Joanne has over 20 years’ experience investing in natural resources. The former Head of Global Resources at Colonial First State she managed one of the largest resource specialist funds in the world. Joanne has first-hand experience of mines and operations, having undertaken more than 400 site visits in 42 countries. Joanne was awarded a D.Phil. in Chemical Crystallography from the University of Oxford.
Paul Smart
Director
Paul is a professional director and experienced finance professional. He is a Chartered Accountant and a long-standing member of the Institute of Directors and is currently a director of Intercity Group, Solarcity, Argus Group, Mercer Group and a number of other private companies. Paul has had senior executive experience in start-ups, public companies, multi nationals and an SOE. His experience included 12 years with Sky Network Television as its founding Chief Financial Officer and 4 years as Chief Financial Officer of Meridian Energy which included serving as a director of Southern Hydro, Australia’s largest renewable energy company.

Mike O’Sullivan
Founder and COO
Mike graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Mineral Technology (Hon). He was previously the Senior Vice President of Business Development with Anvil Mining and the Chief Operating Officer of Copperbelt Minerals. He has worked in operational and business development roles in New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Algeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Dr. Bill Bourcier
Geothermal Consultant
Bill is a geochemist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, California. He helped design the silica extraction process used at Mammoth Lakes geothermal power station. Bill was previously Research Director with Simbol Materials in the US, a company that is developing techniques to extract lithium from geothermal fluids.
Mark Jarand
Technical Services Manager
Mark has a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from UCSD, USA. He has over 30 years of experience in applied research relating to the development, manufacturing, controlling of colloidal silica manufacturing processes.
