Our Partners
Our ability to do great work is a direct function of the strength of our partnerships. We have a growing stable of valued partners across all areas of our business.
To us, a great partnership is one where significant new value can be created and shared equitably. As such, our partners include firms and organisations at the top of their game, and we are proud and humbled by their decisions to partner with Geo40.
Our mature silica-recovery technology is a product of a number of important partnerships.
- Geothermal power generators Contact Energy, Mercury Energy and Norske Skog in New Zealand and GERD and NEDO in Japan supported early piloting of our technology
- Both our Ngawha Demonstration Plant and large-scale Northern Plant are facilitated by a partnership between Geo40, the Ngati Tahu Tribal Lands Trust and Contact Energy
- Significant funding for the Northern Plant was provided by Kanoa, Regional Economic Investment and Development Unit of the New Zealand Government, who is also a significant equity investor
We value their support and belief in us.
Great teams doing great work
As our long-term partnerships bear fruit, we look for opportunities to broaden our work and add new partners.
Many of our partners here have worked with us since our inception. This includes design consultancies, engineering fabricators and our financial advisors and early investors. We value their commitment to our journey.
More recently, we have been delighted to work with a wider group of partners. We have welcomed new customers, suppliers, advisor and investors where our interests are well aligned.
A good example includes our strategic relationship with Climeon of Sweden, leaders in low-temperature, heat-recovery generation and sister company Baseload Capital, their build-own-operate partner. We see potential for our technologies to work together and we value their strategic investment in our Company.
We’re are now building relationships with relevant silica and lithium resource owners as we contemplate growth.
