Corporate Responsibility
Our silica recovery technology helped rehabilitate this hot spring, which holds cultural significance for local Māori.
We are a small company, but we believe we can make a meaningful impact through the way we operate.
For us, corporate responsibility is a commitment to doing good: sustainably recovering low-carbon strategic minerals and developing markets where they can replace less sustainable alternatives.
This purpose motivates us to grow and play a meaningful role in the supply of key minerals essential to a low-carbon future.
It drives us to innovate and identify opportunities to create value across the wider mineral recovery ecosystem. In doing so, we are committed to supporting our people, partners, and communities while embracing the Māori principle of Kaitiakitanga — environmental guardianship and stewardship. This mindset guides how we conduct our business, with integrity, respect, and accountability.
We believe these values and behaviours create long-term value for our stakeholders, shareholders, and the communities in which we operate.
We measure and report our progress against key corporate responsibility objectives. To support this, we have adopted a formal Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework to guide the development and operation of our business.
Our ESG framework is based on the 21 core stakeholder capitalism metrics developed by the World Economic Forum, which are aligned with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These metrics are organised across four themes: People, Planet, Prosperity, and Governance.
